Amazon Go is a first of its kind smart retail environment. Integrated with machine and vision learning systems to deliver a checkout-less experience. Reporting to the design director, I was the first CX designer hired. Collaborating with a diverse team of highly technical disciplines, led the conceptual development of the customer experience and environmental design. Crafting the experience by maintaining a high bar, advocating for the customer and meeting tech requirements. Agency of record for The Home Depot’s In Store Merchandising group. BRR was hired to assist the reinvention of the shopping experience for their 2000+ stores. Developed “store of the future” concepts, digital integration, fixture development and visual merchandising standards. Additional projects included Carters, Luxottica and JCP.-Conducted competitor audits and consumer research to identify trends, shopper journeys and paths to purchase-Directly involved with brainstorms, consumer insights, focus groups and shop-alongs-Worked directly with THD merchants and vendors to develop in store programs -Developed new merchandising standards and communication best practices -Full-cycle design development from concept through implementation
