I have worked my way up, earning a bigger role each summer. I started as a regular counselor who was just responsible for the kids in my cabin. I was promoted to cabin leader, as I now had more responsibility and my own cabin every week. The next summer, I was a part of the leadership team, specifically working with the Leader In Training program, which focuses on building leadership skills in high school students. Lastly, I have been promoted to a position where I am leading all of the boys' camp staff and campers, this role is heavily centered in leading and supporting those whom I am supervising.
