Responsible for monitoring and processing of Commercial construction loan draws from loan inception to completion. Ensures that construction loans are processed in accordance to the Bank’s policies and procedures. Responsibilities include reviewing construction loan documentation, draw requests, sworn statements, budgets, ordering title updates and inspections and maintaining accurate records of all draws.

Manage daily business operations. Oversee department staff, processes and services to ensure operations are efficient and effective while identifying and implementing process improvements in support of organizational mission. Manage and direct the physical and technical functions of the business which includes sales, support, training, compliance, account maintenance, finance, accounting, project management and facilities management. Oversee overall financial management, planning, forecasting, systems and controls including processing daily accounts receivable and payable transactions, generating invoices and reconciling financial activities. Aid in product development, testing and marketing communications. Serve as a primary liaison to legal counsel in addressing legal issues. Contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team.

Direct department staff to proactively identify and control loss mitigation risk, utilizing effective collection efforts and loss mitigation options as an alternative to foreclosure on Conventional, Non-Conventional, and Government loans. Recognize industry changes to ensure compliance with Federal and State agency requirements. Recommend and implement organizational improvements to policies and procedures. Cultivate Default staff by providing support, training and development guidance.

Facilitated day-to-day operations of 64 commercial and residential bank-owned properties. Completed property preservation measures, property inspections, negotiated terms and executed sales agreements, lease agreements and land contracts. Coordinate and track all repair work, maintenance, construction, utilities, leasing, sale, rent collections, tax payments, etc. Organized contractor bids related to repairs and incomplete projects.

Led and developed the commercial and residential construction processes. Created and implemented policy and procedures that were utilized companywide. Designed documentation and forms imperative to departmental functions. Analyzed loan files for conformance with agency requirements and approved disbursement of funds. Directed department staff and provided support to production team members.
