Architected and implemented 7 backup environments for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program. Also performed DISA security policies across the entire environment. Also worked with Nutanix Hyperconverged on 7 different instances installing VMware and configuring Nutanix cluster. Lead designer for the Disaster Recovery (DR) model for a Disk-Disk-Tape Environments. I also became well versed with Commvault Backup, as I was Chief Architect for the Commvault environments. I implemented the software, engineered the Commvault solution per DISA/DOD standards, tested and tuned the environment regarding manufacturers & customers best practices. Ultimately, by working with the MVI was able to Improve backup times from hours to minutes by working with the VMware team to fine tune adapter settings/configurations in the vSphere environment. (We switched adapters form E1000 to VMXNET3 and verified everything was set to Round Robin) Commvault badged engineers flew down to the test site and verified the Architecture onsite. Once the racks were ready to ship, I met up with the Systems Admin at the final destination and taught him/her how to use the Commvault software, relayed best practices and verified their configurations.
