Core responsibilities include the development of a Visitor Economy Strategy and Action Plan for Buckinghamshire.

Responsible for leading work around regional innovation, including supporting Scottish partners in their identifying EU engagement and network development opportunities. With a particular focus on key sectors including cultural heritage, tourism and food and drink, I work closely with partners across Scotland to identify how their EU engagement approaches and strategies can support their international and domestic profiling and drive economic development to Scotland.

Working for the Brussels-based section of the EPLP Secretariat in a fast-paced political environment. The EPLP Secretariat supports and facilitates the work of the Labour MEPs and acts as liaison to other bodies of the Labour movement and the Secretariat of the Socialists & Democrats in the European Parliament.Main responsibilities:• Making practical arrangements for the organisation of EPLP meetings and events.• Monitoring activities in the European Parliament to assist the Secretariat in reporting on MEPs' work.• Assisting with administration of EPLP finances, including liaison with the S&D Group.• Assisting EPLP colleagues in the organisation of programmes for visitors.

Working primarily with Communications Manager to successfully implement Inclusion Europe's pan-European communications strategy for a number of projects relating to issues ranging from the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities to the right to political participation for people with intellectual disabilities.Main responsibilities:• Producing and editing features for the organisation's information tools on a daily basis.• Supervising the production and dissemination of the 'Europe for Us' and 'e-Include' newsletters. • Participating in external meetings with European institutions and drafting related reports and articles.• Providing and editing content for intellectual disabilities-related journal 'Include'.

Worked as English Language Teaching Assistant at Lycée Professionnel Camille Schneider and Lycée Polyvalent Louis Marchal, both national secondary education institutions. Taught classes of students ranging from 14-18 years old and wide range of class sizes. Responsible, along with three other members of staff, for 50 students on a trip to the UK and planning visits and accommodation prior to the trip.Main responsibilities:• Promoting British culture and English language through teaching.• Working with two different English departments to create lesson plans and share ideas.• Assessing students on presentations and oral linguistic ability.• Preparing group of students for work placements in the UK.• Managing timetable between two different departments.• Teaching and translating from French to English.
