My Rotations throughout the department this summer:International Tax-- Exposure to Form 5452, 5713 International Boycott- Prepared statements to be set for review by the domestic tax team- Worked with other Walmart international holding entities in other countries such as Chile, Luxembourg, and CanadaProperty Tax--Store valuation appeals: I have worked with both the business personal property team as well as the real estate team, used in-house excel models to value and prepare an argument for assessors of various jurisdictions throughout the country-Payments: My time with the payments team was short but beneficial, learning how anything and everything is presented in SAP, process of wire transfers, etcTransfer Pricing--Loan document extraction for international cash planning, budgeting, inter-company transfer of assets- Exposure to Pillar 2 and what that means for Walmart and a retailer in general, as well as other compliance and regulatory lawsTax Tech & Data--Analyzed sales data up to 10 million lines using SQL-Constructed workflows through Alteryx- Other platforms learned/exposed too: Python, DataikuSales & Use Audit Tax--Prepared detailed audit reports for caseloads-Conducted research on statistical audit sampling on states currently in use, presented my findings to the team
