Conceived during the decline of advertising as we know it and born into an economic recession, Obsidian has no concept of and no interest in “how things used to be”. We understand what we see and what we see is a creative renaissance. Advertising didn't go anywhere, the audience did and therefore the industry must take a different form; a smarter form. In an age where nobody is ever “off the grid” Obsidian is always “on”. Obsidian marks the beginning of the new-school and the new standard for representation in the commercial space so the question is not: are you represented? The question is: who is representing you?

Account Development Executive
My position consisted of contacting potential client companies in order to provide recruitment services. From there it was my responsibility to effectively negotiate the contract/payment terms of the partnership as well as to create a description of the open position(s) within the client company for all recruiters in my network. From that point it was my job to interview all potential candidates before submitting them to the client in order to ensure the best possible match for the client's needs. By partnering with the client's HR and Sales department, we were able to streamline the search and hiring process.
