I am a student-lead employee at the D.H. Hill Library. My responsibilities across the different departments I have worked for are as follows:Reserves Scanning Team: Scanned book content using Bookeye overhead scanner, edited and formatted images for Controlled Digital Lending, and collaborated with library staff for digital licensing information.Bookstacks Student Assistant: Maintained print and media collections, processed material requests, scanned chapters and articles with a Bookeye scanner, and edited images for electronic delivery.Tripsaver Student Assistant: Processed ILL items, prepared items for hold shelf, coordinated with supervisor, trained new hires, and ensured patron privacy through shredding of paperwork.

I worked for two summers at my local community center (Millbrook Exchange Park) creating a safe, fun, and positive environment for summer campers aged 6-11.This position required me to be quick on my feet when it comes to conflict resolution and positively distract the campers. I also became more open minded and patient - working with children was a lot different than it would be to work with my peers.

I worked as a salesman and cashier in a sports-focused retail store. I was required to work my shifts alone, so I was presented with a lot of responsibility in opening or closing the store.
