I worked for two summers at my local community center (Millbrook Exchange Park) creating a safe, fun, and positive environment for summer campers aged 6-11.This position required me to be quick on my feet when it comes to conflict resolution and positively distract the campers. I also became more open minded and patient - working with children was a lot different than it would be to work with my peers.

I worked as a salesman and cashier in a sports-focused retail store. I was required to work my shifts alone, so I was presented with a lot of responsibility in opening or closing the store. I strengthened my skills accounting and organization. I gained a lot of experience with customer service and trying to find something in the store that would make the customer happy.
