In the first 12 months I agreed a new budget of £15,000 with the Domestic Bursar and reduced the deficit to nil, improved site security by introduced a visitor’s signing in and fire register, negotiated a contract for the disposal of confidential papers to a more secure system

Middle management post plotting career-qualifying courses for new entrants, from induction to completion, liaised with different training schools and external agencies to ensure all students complete the necessary courses in the shortest possible time and presented monthly reports on target percentages, merging trends and any problems encountered.Client representative for the department’s site move including changing from four accommodation blocks with integral offices and a separate head office into built-for-purpose accommodation with a central administration building, maintaining telephone extension numbers and intranet access without disruption to pastoral care or training and reduced the need for IT hardware by moving the department to a networking system.

Provided logistical support to a 20-strong team that carried out promotional events in the London area. Logistical management of the offices, vehicles, equipment and staff accommodation as well as the booking of training areas, student accommodation and catering. Liaised with colleagues, senior management and outside agencies, designated work teams to promotional events.Initiated annual appraisals for the team members and updated and corrected the equipment account, both of which had not been kept up to standard.As the team’s transport manager I allocated vehicles to task and changed the contract for the team’s transport to vehicles more suitable to task.
