I advise the US Agency for International Development (USAID), Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), and other development clients on investment and decarbonization strategies to improve clean energy, climate resilience, and social impact policies in emerging markets. This includes day-to-day operations management for a $50+ million active project portfolio and capturing a $150+ million business development pipeline of new sales opportunities.

I served as DCOP for USAID/DC's six-year $22 million global advisory cooperative agreement, contributing to the design, management, and execution of 23 separate Leader Awards and 5 Associate Awards. These projects partnered with international USAID missions to address the key questions and critical barriers surrounding successful power planning and energy efficiency adoption, and to pilot scalable strategies to pave the way for expansion across national, regional, and local markets.

The project was focused on improving the business enabling environment and viability of key value chains to facilitate and accelerate sustainable economic growth.My portfolio also included daily management for USAID/Nepal’s 3-year, $23 million Nepal Economic Agriculture and Trade (NEAT) Activity as a member of a 5-person management team. The project was focused on improving conditions for private sector growth, trade, and competitiveness in selected agricultural sectors, enhancing food security, and increasing access to micro-finance services for under-served and disadvantaged populations.

I managed day-to-day field office operations for USAID/Maldives’ Enhance Climate Resiliency and Water Security Program, a 4-year and $7.1 million contract. Project focused on assisting the Maldives to prepare for climate variability by building central and local government capacity for integrated water resource planning.

I volunteered to assist with the installation of a rain supplied drip-irrigation system to demonstrate sustainable growing techniques, and to scale-up existing local demonstration plot models.

I volunteered to teach conversational English, Environmental Studies, and Global Social Studies to teachers and 7th-12th grade students.

I partnered with the TAFEA Province Department of Agriculture to train 250 local farmers in sustainable organic agri-forestry and agri-enterprise concepts and best practices. The integrated training framework targeted sustainable interventions to bolster farm-to-fork cash crop value chains, including: Arabica coffee, Kava, Cassava, Taro, Heritage Yam varieties, and garden vegetables.My volunteer service also included the development of training programs to foster gender and social inclusion community awareness, an educational exchange partnership between intermediate schools in Vanuatu and Pennsylvania, and the development of a multi-community steering committee to design and submit funding proposals for a $75,000 potable water system.
