It is my job to continue to grow our brand by building relationships with clients and our distributor. Part of this is by creating newsletters and publications to go out to parties that carry R. Shea. Updating and approving artwork is also included in my essential duties. I also work with our brewers for creative ideas and as a “third party check” on where we are at with different beers in fermentation to what is in bright tanks. I represent R. Shea at many events such as tap takeovers and beerfests.

Respond to fire and medical emergencies in Granger Township and surrounding mutual aid communities if requested. When on shift perform various duties such as vehicle or station maintenance, daily truck checks, and instructing new trainees if needed. Work "on call" shifts to help provide guaranteed coverage for emergency calls.

Respond to emergencies involving spilled or leaking chemicals, chemical or biological agents that can be used as a weapons, and any other chemical mitigation that may be needed. On scenes it is our job to research what the problem is, mitigate the incident, preserve life safety, and preserve enviromental safety. Train monthly with the team to keep up on the ever changing world of Hazardous Materials. Members on team are sponsored by their home fire departments. Summit County HazMat is a Type I HazMat Team.Zone Coordinatornators are the "managing" body of the HazMat Team, and are lead by the Branch Director. We plan and coordinate the yearly schedule of trainings for the team. We decide on purchases. As a group we update SOG's, decide on grant options, and many other factors of the team.As Deputy Branch Director, I assist the Branch Director with his duties. This is a new position within all of Special Operations created in 2018.

Respond to fire and medical emergencies in and around the communities of Boston Twp, Boston Hts, and Peninsula OH and with any mutual aid agencies that may call. Participate in bi-monthly fire and EMS trainings. Responsible for maintaining and updating department MABAS, Mutual Aid Mapping, and department routing. Member of Summit County Hazardous Materials Response Team.

Create and instruct monthly trainings for the HazMat Team. Assist other instructors with teaching monthly trainings for the HazMat Team. Maintain and service various equipment related to the HazMat Team, including meters, computers, and other tools used in the operations of the team.
