Hello, my name is Matthew Choo. I am a sophomore at The University of Texas at Dallas, majoring in finance. I have found my love for finance, especially in Hedge Fund management, through my dad and I plan to continue that path at a higher level. I gained all my knowledge of finance through my dad and still, to this day, I am learning new things from him. As a sophomore in college, my dream of landing a job as a Hedge Fund Manager is still a significant reach, but I know I can gain the knowledge and experience necessary to achieve it. I plan on searching for internships at financial companies to gain hands-on experience in the industry and what it brings. With that, I can network and make connections in the finance world. I will also join various investment clubs and activities to gain knowledge from different perspectives and unlock a new stream of knowledge. I can succeed in this field because I will be fully committed to tasks and projects assigned to me, no matter the importance.
