Worked as the team leader for a senior design project in collaboration with the Bechtel engineering team at the Pueblo Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant (PCAPP). The goal of this project was to provide a proof of concept design to handle larger flow rates by retrofitting the Cavity Access Machines (CAM) designed for decommissioning chemical weapons. My team successfully delivered a proof of concept design which met all agreed upon engineering specifications and requirements. Our design team sponsor was pleased with our work. Skills required:- Team leadership - Finite Element Analysis for static loading under vacuum conditions- Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) analysis for transient flow of non-Newtonian fluid mixtures - Solidworks drafting for mechanical parts and assemblies- Creative problem solving in a team-based environment
