Tutored two subjects in the RMIT School of Science, Computing Theory and Discrete Structures in Computing.Computing Theory focuses on formal language theory, models of computation including automata and Turing Machines, computability and complexity theory. Discrete Structures in Computing teaches foundational mathematics such as propositional logic, graph theory and discrete probability. Key responsibilities in both courses were assisting students with questions during their weekly tutorial sessions and aiding in the administration of each course. I also participated in assessment marking as part of Computing Theory.

Internship with CSIRO’s Data61 working with the Workspace team and focusing on visualisation of computational modelling scenarios in virtual reality environments. The internship involved development of a C# framework for the Unity game engine which was capable of piping large-scale 3D simulation datasets from the Workspace platform and visualising the data in customised Oculus Rift VR scenarios to maximise user experience. Two project demonstrators were also delivered over the course of the internship - a VR bushfire scenario employing bushfire modelling data and a simulation of micro-scale industrial manufacturing.
