I work with individuals, families and small businesses primarily in the Cotswolds and London area to support them in understanding their life goals and how best to structure their finances to help them achieve those.My approach to financial advice centres on developing a long-standing, trusted relationship with my clients and those important to them, to support them in areas of their lives ranging from investing small nest-eggs for young children, putting together plans for retirement, through to supporting families as they consider the costs of long-term care.I joined St. James's Place in 2015, and since then have developed an in-depth technical knowledge in the financial planning industry and a broad experience working in a range of Head Office support functions as well as advising, and consulting for, the SJP community.In 2021, I was fortunate enough to take a sabbatical and deploy to Iraq with the British Army Reserves, who I have served with since my early twenties. I hope to bring the lessons in leadership and the deeply ingrained values of integrity and discipline instilled in me through the Army to my career with SJP and the work I do in support of my clients.I work as part of Shrubsole Wealth Management, an Associate Partner Practice of St. James's Place Wealth Management, alongside Andy Shrubsole; I have known Andy as a close family friend since I was twelve and he has supported and mentored me throughout my career.Outside of work, I enjoy my fitness and spend as much time outdoors as I can, have a passion for travelling and experiencing other cultures, and live next door to a small grass airfield in the Cotswold countryside where the sound of a distant propeller can often be heard in the background of my Zoom calls.The value of an investment with St. James’s Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds selected and may fall as well as rise.
