Matt Cornner is a recognized thought leader, C-Suite advisor, and sought after executive coach. His mission is to change the world by changing the way leaders see, think and act. For more than 20 years, Matt has led engagements and worked with executive teams from leading health care organizations including Cedars Sinai Health System, Johns Hopkins International, Memorial Hermann Health System, Trinity Health, Advent Health, UNC Health, Kettering Health Network, Ballad Health, and Johnson and Johnson. Matt is known for his deep understanding of complex leadership challenges and his ability to help teams see those challenges and opportunities more clearly. Matt’s areas of expertise include purpose-driven strategy, organizational transformation, adaptive leadership, adult development, executive team effectiveness, and executive coaching. In addition to his many years with Advisory Board, Matt spent time during his earlier career on Capitol Hill where he built a grassroots political network for the Episcopal Church, USA. Matt also spent three years as an executive search consultant with Witt Kieffer. Matt holds an MA in Political Management from The George Washington University and a BA in International Relations from UC Santa Barbara. Matt lives in Darnestown, MD just outside Washington, D.C. with his teenage child, Alex. When he is not helping leaders navigate complexity he likes to read, spend time with friends, spend time and travel with his partner, and bake cakes, cookies and pies with Alex.
