I am a senior at the University of Memphis pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering. Design of machines, parts, and buildings are fields that I am passionate about learning about and working with. It interests me to disassemble machines and figure out the interactions between parts and systems. At my current position I am learning the system interactions of HVAC equipment, troubleshooting systems, and gaining hands on experience with maintenance and repair of HVAC systems.My classmates and co-workers have described me as being a motivated example by being hard-working, passionate about successfully finding solutions to problems, and eager to collaborate with others to find solutions to problems at hand. I have experience in leadership positions at my previous places of work as well as my home church that has also strengthened my public speaking skills. I am on track to graduate in May of 2022, and I plan to pursue a career in design, manufacturing and fabrication. I am actively looking for an internship or job in this field where I can implement the skills I have gained through my education and work experience to further my knowledge and benefit the company I will be working for.
