Through my work as a leader in the edutainment industry and in the world of social entrepreneurship, I have gained a wide range of expertise in operations, people and team management, strategy, coaching, and fostering environments that focus on inclusivity and belonging. While I have produced dozens of films, commercials, etc., perhaps the project I'm most proud of is the diversity, equity, and inclusion program I created while VP of Production and Development at Mili Pictures. Since then, I have led workshops, coached individuals, and consulted in diversity and inclusion discourses with both diverse groups as well as specifically with men around the globe. After spending nearly 2 years in Kenya working to launch a social enterprise, Ecodunia, I moved to Chicago to earn a master’s degree at the University of Chicago in sociology and comparative human development with a graduate certificate in gender and sexuality studies. I have lived abroad in Mexico, Germany, and Kenya, as well as having worked in South America and China.
