I graduated from Oregon State University with a B.S. in Environmental Science that had a concentration in Geology in June 2005. My interest in the environment and sustainable practices is what has led me to my current pursuit of a Green MBA through Marylhurst University. This MBA has a strong emphasis on sustainable business practices. Now that I have completed my studies, I hope my passion for the environment and professional knowledge can be applied to other organizations. The majority of my working knowledge has taken place through my time working as an Environmental Consultant, I have had many opportunities to learn new strategies and techniques that have given me a diverse background. For example, currently I assist in the management of several projects for a large educational institution. The management of these projects includes contractor coordination, site visits, and client communication with representatives on multiple levels. I have had the opportunity to be the field coordinator of several teams and individuals during multiple semi-annual ground water monitoring projects. These projects required a combined effort by numerous individuals, including multiple project managers and contractors, in order to complete it in on time and successfully. My diverse background also includes experiences within the industrial hygiene sector, as well as on geotechnical projects. I have conducted ground water monitoring on numerous projects over the last six years by using a variety of techniques and have assisted in performing storm water monitoring. In addition, I am knowledgeable in soil sampling and drilling activities that are utilized during subsurface investigations.Specialties: Phase I Environmental Reports, Phase II Environmental Reports, 40 hour Hazwoper Certification, AHERA Building Inspector Certification
