An internationally-recognized creative leader, Matt has continuously led some of the biggest and most innovative brands in the world, like Google, Activision, Verizon, IBM, Dove, Coca-Cola, ESPN, Toyota, and Johnnie Walker, to creative and commercial success. In 2024, he was part of the team that led Ogilvy NY to be recognized as one of the top 3 creative agencies in the world, the first time in the office’s history. In the same year, he and his team created a Super Bowl spot that featured Beyonce trying to break the Verizon network in all sorts of viral ways, culminating in her actually breaking the internet live on the Super Bowl by dropping two new singles during the commercial. The spot took over the Super Bowl conversation and won a gold and bronze lion at Cannes. In his current role, he’s also led category-breaking, award-winning work for both Dove and IBM while also helping foster and build Ogilvy New York’s creative department with some of the industry’s best talent. Career highlights include breaking the internet together with Beyonce, being nominated for an Emmy for Google’s Year In Search film, leading the global launch of Activision's 4 billion dollar Call of Duty franchise to record-breaking sales, saving countless small businesses from closing during the pandemic with an idea called “PayitForward Live” featuring today’s biggest music artists, hacking the entire Google ecosystem to change it to the Light Side or Dark Side for the launch of the new Star Wars, teaming up with JJ Abrams to create an entirely new space race, launching IBM’s new Ai platform to creative and commercial success and fostering a spirit of radical collaboration in some of the most exciting creative agencies in the industry with some of the best teams in the business.Matt has lived and worked all over the world, leading independent agencies to exciting new chapters and big agencies to even bigger heights. Prior to life at Ogilvy, Matt held roles at some of the industry’s best agencies, creating unignorable work at 72andSunny, AKQA, McCann, BSSP, Saatchi&Saatchi and more. He’s led work internationally across Asia, Europe and the US.
