Repair and adjust system components, such as sensors, transmitters, valves and DCS/PLC components in linerboard mill, water treatment plant and fluidized bed burner plant. Responsible for self-management of projects and installation of new plant equipment.Work jointly with process operators and staff from other maintenance departments.

Led the electrical design-for-manufacturing of a solar-powered USB device charging product. Duties included creating BOMs, cost estimates and developing schematics using Eagle CAD and Altium Designer. Represented the company at several trade shows and industry events.Developed prototypes using various MCU platforms including Raspberry Pi, AVR, Arduino and ESP8266.

Worked with the Intelligent Building Automation Systems (IBAS) research group at George Brown College. Engaged with several industry partners to help them overcome development challenges and construct prototypes.Collaborated to build an electricity-generating furnace prototype. Created a three-phase rectifier circuit. Built circuitry to interface a superheat sensor and pump speed controller, and to measure generator power output and ambient air quality. Prepared multiple prototypes of a solar-power USB device charger. Work focused on power measurement, dc to dc power conversion, component recommendations and prototype assembly. Was later hired by Better Current to continue this work.

George Brown College

Facilitated on-campus study space. Ensured cleanliness of space and that a respectable volume level was maintained. Also monitored that students were using the space for work. Led supplementary help sessions for lower year courses (Engineering Drawing and Circuit Analysis).Answered student questions while at front desk. These ranged from coursework and school services to career advice.
