With a small team, we guided sales teams and services teams in their transformation from a “features and functions” strategy to a “value selling” strategy while maintaining the quality our final deliveries. We were part of a global team that developed, deployed, and monitored our ISO certified project management methodology to ensure smooth, efficient, and on-time delivery of real business value to the customer.

Lead a variety of regional and global cross-silo projects such as the Singapore Data Center deployment, file sharing/collaboration improvements, unified communications improvements, and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) deployment. Also helped to develop a professional project management approach for the Asia Pacific IT team that was intended to be a permanent organizational change in philosophy. When I first started at Dassault Systemes, I worked in the Collaboration Engineering group which managed systems related to WebEx, Groove, Active Directory, and Exchange infrastructure. Also heavily involved in SharePoint improvements and support in the first few years at Dassault Systemes.

During my time there, I had many different types of clients where I was their primary technologist: reviewing what they had, recommended what they needed, and deploying necessary technology systems to meet their strategic goals. Joined TGB Architects in a dual role position: architectural AutoCAD Specialist and sole IT support. At the time, the office had less than 15 people. Maintained the dual role throughout my time there, becoming an Architectural Project Manager and IT Manager as the company grew past 40 full time staff and merged with a general contractor. Most of the architectural projects I managed were for new and remodeled churches in the Pacific Northwest (Washington and Oregon) though I was involved in several projects for medical facilities as a team member.

Stationed on the guided-missile frigate USS Curts, FFG-38. Joined the crew after completion of Operation Desert Storm (also known as the Gulf War). As an Electronic Warfare Technician, was responsible for using and maintaining radar detection, anti-missile defense, and radar jamming systems - officially known as Electronic Support Measures and Electronic Counter Measure (ESM/ECM). Also acted as military intelligence specialist and conducted training in naval tactics related to missile defense. The position required me to have a DoD Secret clearance during this time period.
