As a Commercial Real Estate Appraiser with Arapahoe County, I leverage my knowledge of commercial property valuation along with my extensive experience in market research and property due diligence, to provide an accurate and fair assessment of value for each property within my designated portfolio. I am responsible for a portfolio of ~1,100 commercial real estate properties, with a combined market value of over $4B.Within my role at the county, I perform in-depth market analysis on various commercial real estate segments throughout the county, state, and even nationally at times. In addition, I actively research sales and leases for the property segments in my portfolio and also complete sales verification for properties that have transacted within the base period and the extended base period timeframe. At times, I complete a thorough appraisal analysis for specific properties that need my attention. I use software tools like Moody's Analytics, Real Capital Analytics, Claritas, and CoStar. I also communicate and collaborate with property owners, developers, brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure transparency and compliance with the county's policies and regulations.Prior to joining Arapahoe County, I was a Commercial Real Estate Analyst at Integra Realty Resources, where I gained valuable skills and knowledge pertaining to commercial real estate (CRE) market trends, data collection, and investment analysis. I also have a strong background in FinTech, banking, and marketing, having founded and led CryptoSpace, a cryptocurrency advising firm that was located in Boulder, Colorado. After I sold CrytpoSpace, I made the decision to pursue a career in commercial real estate, utilizing all of the professional skills I had acquired in my various roles. Previous to being an entrepreneur, I worked as an Associate Broker at Coldwell Banker and a Personal Banker at JPMorgan Chase & Co. My passion for real estate and finance drives me to constantly learn and grow in my field, and to deliver high-quality results in all of my pursuits.
