Also partially involved in process management of carbon black production lines from the reactors to conveying.-Management of day-to-day operations - improving current and developing new procedures for operations.-Reviewing and updating piping and instrumentation diagrams.-Managing and tracking maintenance of all equipment in area.-Leading startup and shutdown activities and troubleshooting.-Verifying interlocks and functionality of the distributed control system.-Manage capital projects including the following: turbine-generator major overhaul, elevated centralized control room construction, boiler retube, sulfuric acid tank replacement, and HEX refurbishments & replacements.

Given the opportunity to work diligently with struggling high school students in all levels of math and science. In my second year of working for this organization, I was promoted to a management position in which I guided incoming tutors on how to properly and successfully fulfill their roles as tutors. Shaping the minds of these students proved to be challenging at times. Using a problem-solving mindset, I always found a way to attack the situation and bring each student to understanding the material, not just to the solution. My management position allowed for my personable character to flourish in the workplace. Working while being a full-time student boosted my disciple, commitment, and work ethic.
