- Manage the accounting staff in their daily routines, processes and review of their working papers- Perform month end procedures, including the consolidation of six legal entities- Prepare quarterly financials, MD&A report, board committee and audit committee presentations - Ensure that the financial are in accordance with IFRS, including being up to date with any changes. - Analysis of the monthly and quarterly results- Plan and oversee the year end audit with our external auditors- Plan and prepare the annual E-Business application and assist with the R&D tax credit - Plan and prepare the corporate tax return - Oversee the Payroll process to ensure proper controls are met - Encourage and motivate employees to attain their objectives and increase employee satisfaction

- Prepare year-end engagements for audits for clients in various businesses and not for profit organizations.- Responsible for planning and executing the year-end engagements.- Prepare financial statements in accordance with Canadian standards (ASPE) or international (IFRS).- Prepare corporate and personal tax returns.- Attend networking events to continue building client relationships and business development.- Provide advice and training for new staff members.- Participate in University recruitment to hire new candidates to work for BDO Canada.

-Year-end Financial Statements of the 6 companies in the group.-Bank statement reconciliation and cash disbursements-Preparing the corporate income tax, GST/HST and QST fillings.-Payroll of the employees with Deductions at source.
