I facilitated all changes and improvements on the lines. I directed a line move from another plant to our plant and ran the assembly start-up processes. I laid out the new floor plan, coordinated the air lines and IT connections as well as managed packaging constraints. I assisted in the assembly management of four current production door panel assembly lines and the introduction of four launch door panel assembly lines. I oversaw run-at rates and assisted in the build education of operators as new equipment would have programming or technical issues. I performed tool changes, programming changes, screw driver programming changes and improved tool pack and flex base performance. I was the purchasing agent for all spare parts on a punch press program, foam-in-place program, and a assembly program, purchasing in excess of $200,000 worth of parts. I managed the shipment of the spare parts and labeled and organized them as they were delivered.

    Created a plastic pressure model to determine the lowest size molding machines that door panel and other large molds could run in based on their wall thickness, material, and length to end-of-fill. I used both theoretical methods as well as gathered real data based on the RJG methods to determine mold pressures and translate that information into mold machine recommended size. Evaluated texture house costs and determined the quoting cost based on the detail of the grain and amount of steel that had to be grained. Also looked at which texturing techniques were used to produce certain textures and developed a quoting model around the time to create each grain. Collaborated with tooling engineers to keep their master documents organized and consolidate their part numbers, names, and tool numbers to a single document. I also ran a molding trial on molds to see the quality of the mold.

I developed an entire quoting system for the components, hours, and purchased processes of new tools, repair tools, and extra metal work. I created a method to record employee's time spent on different molds and how to bill that work based on the time they spent.
