I’m currently supporting both large and small agencies in production needs.

As a lead member of the senior production team, my role was centred on managing all facets of digital production (websites, apps, campaigns, etc) at the agency. I was responsible for both internal and freelance producers, including dept. budget management and team support/coaching. During my tenure I was able to work on large clients such as Tangerine, Shoppers Drug Mart, Loblaws, Mitsubishi, and Home Hardware.

As both the Director of Production and a Partner, my role at One Pixel Off included leading our internal production and freelance teams (Developers, Information Architects, and Creative) as well as being the main point of contact for our many agency and client teams. With a firm grasp of the company’s bottom line I was also responsible for new business, resourcing, client servicing, and the many other day-to-day needs that come with managing a small business. During my time there, I was able to work with teams managing digital executions for well-known brands like Actavis Speciality Pharmaceuticals, Air Canada, CIBC, Corby Spirits, Heineken, RBC, Tangerine, TVO, and World Vision.

As part of the core digital team at BBDO Toronto, I was the lead project manager accountable for managing digital projects from initial concept and creative ideation to execution. This involved working across multiple account teams, creative teams, and managing both internal and external development and quality assurance teams. During my tenure I was able to work with amazing clients and successfully delivered over $2 million in projects across multiple brands for such clients as Molson Coors, Wrigley Canada, Frito Lay Canada, PepsiCo Canada, and Campbell's Canada.

As the lead Project Manager for the BlackBerry account (previously Research In Motion), my role was to concurrently manage multiple large and small projects (totalling over $1.6 million) for multiple business units. This role included supporting account managers in defining project estimates and requirements, reporting on all aspects of current projects, with emphasis on budgets, timelines, estimated time to complete, etc. For delivery, I worked directly with the development, creative, and quality assurance teams (both internal and external), to ensure efficient resourcing and on-time delivery of multiple ongoing projects, and ensuring that project requirements are satisfied.

As lead of a small team that grew into a 10 person team, my role was to consult, develop and report on the strategic direction of online properties for all of Harbourfront Centre’s many programmes and initiatives. I worked directly with web developers, designers (both internal and external vendors), and programme stakeholders to ensure that timelines, usability, user experience, and technical and functional requirements were met. Reporting jointly to the Director of Marketing and the Director of Design Communications, I worked with programme teams to advise on best web practices and web communication strategies for both in-house and external programmes. As a non-profit organization with an intimate team and limited financial resources, this involved working with all departments and functions in the organization to strategically assess and identify needs for their online presence.

As cofounder of StikiPad, a startup that strived to offer an easy way for individuals to collaborate and organize themselves via wikis on the Internet, my role was to design and deliver all aspects of an integrated marketing campaign. This included collateral throughout many different avenues such as the company website, press releases, e-mail advertisements and all aspects of corporate communication. As a product manager, I worked with my business partner to see ideas through the design, development and final implementation stages within the StikiPad application. As a small startup, I also provided on-going support to both current and prospective clients and business partners as well as acted as lead media contact for the company. With any startup, the role involved far too many things to mention in small blurb – being a two person startup means wearing many hats through the course of a day, and we had to do just that with StikiPad.
