Current M.Ed. student at Lehigh University with a passion for human services and working with those of a less-fortunate background. Pursuing a career in which I am able to see the benefits of my labor on a day to day basis is extremely important to me, I always want to be proud of my work. In my previous position, I worked within an special education elementary classroom helping students realize their potential and reach their goals. Although the needs of each student were different, the main idea was always be to become a more complete, self-sufficient, and self-loving individual. In my current position, I work under the guidance of licensed school counselors within Nazareth Area School District as an intern, both at the elementary level and the secondary level. Here I am able to help students at the high school reach their goals for post-secondary education, as well as at the elementary level ensure students are being properly heard and supported when it comes to behavior, social skills, and mental well-being.
