From the outset of my career, when I founded what became Southwestern Ontario’s first and largest internet service provider, I have always thrived on innovating, improving and upgrading business functions through technology and leadership.Over three decades, my initiatives led to my being awarded positions at Cisco, Hewlett Packard and other leading-edge technology companies.In my own consulting business, as a Solution Architect, I created a Portfolio Management System for TD Bank, a Resource Management System for Atomic Energy of Canada, a Grievance Management System for Canada Post, and launched the first Cable Internet Service in the Canadian Maritimes for Eastlink Cable (formerly Access). In my current role as a contract System Specialist at RTI International, one of my noteworthy accomplishments is the redesign, training and launch of its Health Advance unit’s Salesforce instance. I am engaged in other transformational initiatives as well.Prior to that, at Syntegrity, I was the architect of numerous companywide IT and technology advancements, including a sales lifecycle process, automated business processes, multiple security and productivity enhancements, improved website creation and marketing presentation tools, and much more. During my tenure at Cisco, as Operations Manager I supported the release management office, which coordinated activities for three major releases of Oracle. As Lead System Engineer, I led the team that operated the Cisco Network Utility supporting two prominent Canadian financial services institutions.As the Experience section below details, major business areas I have become technically fluent in include marketing and sales, managed services, software implementation, customer engagement, wealth management, and operations.At Western University I studied music, which, as is well-documented, teaches valuable skills in math, problem solving, creativity, critical thinking, time management, and perseverance—tools that helped me launch and progress in my career. To this day, in my spare time I teach music to children and adults of all ages, and have served as a Board Member of Conservatory Canada.With energy and enthusiasm, I look forward to continuing to help organizations achieve optimal performance and profitability by transforming to the latest technologies.
