About Matthew Dugan

I am a graduate of Arizona State University as well as of DeVry University. I have earned two degrees: a Bachelor's of Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Sociology and Justice Studies and a Bachelor's of Science in Network and Communications Management. I am a highly motivated person and held a 4.0 GPA in all networking-specific courses.I am passionate about networking and how we communicate seamlessly through such complicated and fragile means. My interests range from network security and converged communications to network administration/design and beyond.I am currently the leader of the Lumen Technologies, Network Planning and Optimization team. I lead by example and continually look for opportunities to strengthen my skills. For example, I volunteer for all new platform roll-outs (APAC Lead, Voice Complete Platform, Enterprise Security Gateways, Security Route-Reflectors, Cloud Connect, etc.) so I can personally learn/grow, and then share that knowledge with my colleagues. I never back down from a challenge and I pursue all department/corporate goals with impeccable integrity. I take pride in my learned technical skills, but it is my transferable skills that really make the strongest impact.
