Matthew Valencia is a Treasurer - Transfer Student Alliance at Associated Students of UC Santa Barbara. Colleagues describe them as "Matthew Valencia served as my student assistant in FIN 2050 Introduction to Business Law in AY 2023-24. Most notably, he created fantastic review sessions that were engaging and well-received by students and that increased student knowledge and performance on exams. In addition, he attended class sessions, where he helped spur class discussions and assisted me with overseeing group exercises.
