Responsible for the behavior and look and feel of RockMelt on Windows, Mac and mobile platforms. I led a team of interaction and visual designers through design exploration, refinement and implementation. I worked closely with the CEO/Founder on product definition and the product roadmap and with the Engineering Manager to constantly refine our design and agile development process. As the 10th employee of this growing engineering organization I played many roles and contributed to many areas of the company.

Core team member during the development of the Palm Pre and WebOS platform. As Senior Interaction Designer I was responsible for the user experience of several core applications including the browser, calendar, notes, tasks and the music player. I played a user experience leadership role on the development teams, fostering a tight collaborative relationship with Product Marketing, Engineering and Visual Design.

LeadershipIn January 2006 I was promoted to a leadership role within the IDEO community leading a multi-disciplinary group of 30 people. During this time I provided mentorship for new employees and shared responsibility to manage the group and ensure high levels of utilization.Client CollaborationThroughout my career at IDEO I collaborated closely with the Transformation practice, spending one year dedicated to these engagements that are focused on teaching design methods to clients through collaboration.Design Research, Interaction Design and Design StrategyMy project work at IDEO spanned many industries and the roles of Design Research, Interaction Design and Design Strategy. Project work included hospital service experience design, a food packaging solution and a mobile music user experience.
