The RedTop Group is a premier technology company that works both on the contracting side, and the consulting side of low voltage systems. Although specializing in DAS and Electronic Security, I also design, build, and consult clients with: Teledata infrastructure, AV systems, OSP cabling, Sound Masking, and much more. As the Lead Estimator, I develop programs using Excel, VBA, Power Apps, and Power Automate to cut down turnover time and increase bid accuracy. This allows my team to focus on the important task of cost estimating instead of data entry and data collection.

Wire Works / Security By Design is an all-in-one low voltage contractor. They install and maintain Teledata, AV, Sound Masking, Security, POE lighting, and BAS systems. Their experience, knowledge, and network of professionals allows the company to build out all-in-one low voltage systems.While working at Wire Works, I developed an estimating template and database using Microsoft Excel and VBA coding. What would take an estimator at Wire Works a couple of days to bid was cut down to a couple of hours. My template and program allowed for more detailed tracking of project costs, which gave Wire Works a better idea of where they stood financially on projects. My job duties include leading the estimating department, engineering design/build projects, and consulting clients.

Low Voltage systems are an art. A well built data closet is nothing short of beautiful. I started work at Linecom as an intern for the accounting department, and at the end of my stay, I found myself in Estimating. It was truly a unique and rewarding job.Most of my day revolved around doing take offs and preparing bid forms. Take offs were done through Bluebeam Revu PDF editing software, although some I did by hand. From there, all data was entered into ProEst estimating software along with pricing to complete a bid. I also read through specs, prepared and manage change order requests, and created As-built drawings for our clients.
