From the moment my Filipino immigrant grandfather told me “it’s not about how big you are, or where you come from, but it’s about how big of an impact you make,” I decided to eat, breathe, and live leadership. This principle has become the cornerstone of my calling to guide others, learn, and cultivate meaningful relationships. Recently graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce with a focus in Management & Entrepreneurship, I tailor-made my education at Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business for the boy who fell in love with bringing out the best in others as a student body president in high school. Diving headfirst into courses like Social Psychology of Leadership, Conscientious Capitalism, and Social Entrepreneurship, I applied my learnings from the classroom to strive to make a real-world impact: Spearheading the growth of my youth organization, Student Led (SLED) Leadership by banding together over 30 college students across the country to offer leadership development and professional coaching to 120 high schoolers across California; Founding the Bronco Academy of Mentorship (BAM), a registered student organization at SCU that has scaled to offer mentorship to 35+ first and second year students from 20+ upperclassmen in just a year; Honing my interpersonal and technical skills to impact others in a corporate setting through internships in the human resources spaces at Google LLC in 2023 and Paul Hastings LLP in 2022.As I look towards the future, I aim to continue to honor my grandfather's legacy by empowering my peers to own who they are, inspire their communities, and seize their resources and opportunities to impact others locally and globally. Living by the statement, “If you are not doing what you love, then what are you doing,” I hope to use my emotional intelligence capabilities and passion for people to seek experiences that allow me to help others reach their fullest potential.
