I am a CIO who leads enterprise-wide IT change management and Continuous Process Improvements driven by innovations in application software. In the private sector, as well as the U.S. Department of Defense, I have successfully addressed the challenges faced in modernizing large-scale global organizations.Recently, I led a business transformation initiative to facilitate our ability to scale on demand, lower costs, and ensure system-wide functionality during peak usage by migrating 100% of internal infrastructure to the AWS Cloud. I also founded an Analytics team to enhance decision-making based on data insights and to analyze the efficacy of various engagement campaigns.As a consultant with Ingenix, I turned around a challenged project for Blue Cross/ BlueShield by remediating missed milestones and cost overruns, and ensured on-schedule delivery by running daily scrum meetings, monitoring software development, and recalibrating project financials.My overarching strategy is to automate manual processes to enable user self-service, and empower leadership and employees to work remotely in secure, reliable environments. I also developed a software integration toolkit that was adopted by Ingenix, UnitedHealth Group Corporate and OptumHealth.Additionally, I am a guest lecturer at the University of Maryland on topics that include strategies for implementing IT solutions.
