Amicable mediation was used to reach most agreements, but sometimes the assistance of third party service providing vendors and a roster of state-specific retained attorneys was required. Considering industry compliance requirements, state and federal regulations and investor level standards, delinquency remediation plans were built with each debtor’s capabilities in mind and implemented to provide the assistance needed in returning their loan to a performing status either through structured payment plans or lump sum settlements.
