My contributions included:- Managing total-network fulfillment costs and partnering with a freight audit company to obtain actionable, real-time data to inform business decisions.- Spearheading the opening of two 3PL Inbound Consolidation Centers, saving $5M in the first year and enabling further hub and spoke transportation operations. This led to the creation of an innovative home-pickup service, generating over $9M in savings at full entitlement.- Negotiating multiple carrier contracts with cross-functional partners, including transitioning from FedEx to UPS and adding 14+ smaller regional and local couriers, achieving $1.75 per package savings on return shipping rates and creating a cost-reducing network as volume grows.While at Rent the Runway, I honed my strategic planning, IPO compliance, cost management, and cross-functional collaboration skills while positively impacting the company's bottom line.
