Brand ambassadors operate as the face of various companies at employer-led events. Part of the role was to capture student data and network across the campus with both students and the university staff. Whilst working for On-Campus Promotions I collaborated with a team of ambassadors and together we would approach members of the public to sign them onto one the many promotions our companies were advertising. We were set targets for the day and work under a regimented schedule to achieve the required number of sign ups. Working under pressure and to a tight deadline was an intrinsic part of the job.

After 13 weeks of training an Assessor will meet many people from a range of backgrounds that need advice in a wide range of different areas. I gave advice either face to face or on advice-line, the telephone advice service.The aim of an Assessor is to empower individuals to take the next steps to resolving their problem. This could entail providing the client with self-help information, signposting them to a specialist organisation or dealing with the issue personally and representing them in a call with an enforcement officer.
