In this role I manage both internal and customer facing technical initiatives within Amazon's Payment Acceptance & Experience org. The scope of the programs I manage range from flexible internal applications for financial research to a global payment platform with internal (e.g. for customer service and payment operation specialist teams) and external (customer facing) integration points. The management scope includes high and low level design, integration intake with dependency services and downstream financial reporting systems, engineering sprint planning, data collection and analysis for reporting and design decisions, requirements gathering, user feedback loop management, and roadmap reporting to organization leadership.

In this role I maintain and develop the Data Services layer of the Global Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Tech Platform. The development scope includes integrating up-stream data sources, creating big data calculation and validation pipelines (mainly in Spark-Scala & Python), creating user facing applications/features using Cognos TM1, integrating back-end data feeds with external consumer team data pipelines, and building/integrating business intelligence and forecasting applications for financial reporting and projection. In addition to development, I work with partnering teams and project managers to identify user needs and plan/design future deliverables for applications. In this role I am responsible for investigating stuck, erroneous, and inaccurate systematic financial reporting events. The scope of the investigation responsibilities includes WW activity (primarily) for Digital, 1P & 3P retail, subscription, and payment product groups.
