Passionate R&D Chef, Storyteller, and Video Director/Producer combining 10+ years of professional cooking experience and a CIA culinary degree with the technical camera and editing skills to create digital content with high-production value completely from conception to publication. I am creative, charismatic, and collaborative both in and out of the kitchen, a leader who loves inspiring a team, solving problems, cooking delicious recipes, and creating exciting food content to share with the world. With my role as Senior Producer of Central Programming (Food) at Dotdash Meredith, I oversee and strategize the video production of their legacy food brands: Food & Wine, EatingWell, Allrecipes, Better Homes and Gardens, Southern Living, Spruce Eats, Serious Eats, Simply Recipes, and more! I work with an extremely talented team creating innovative digital food video content for the world to enjoy. I direct and cook for an average of 20 recipe videos a week for these brands. I also host a short form series for Eatingwell called "Fresh & Simple" My first YA sci-fantasy action novel, PRAX and the Hazardous Countdown, is now available on Amazon and in select bookstores. It is the first book in a 6-part series to be released over the next decade. My food video production company FrancisFilm, LLC creates high-quality recipe videos for restaurants and food brands and aims to develop engaging food content, television shows, and films that showcase the world's love of food and inspiring stories. We also are the creators of the food interview show, Dinnerviews, and the PRAX book series.
