I have had a highly successful 30 year career in the restaurant and entertainment business spanning both corporate and private entities including Potbelly Sandwich Works in their infancy where I helped develop the management and operational tools that propelled them to greatness; including Giordano's Enterprises where I worked for 10 years advancing to the position District Manager overseeing 300+ employees and gross revenue topping $40 million; to California Pizza Kitchen where I opened a $3.5 million location that became the top performer in the Midwest in sales and QA ratings; to Pockets Restaurant as a Franchisee/Owner where I opened several locations and developed a frozen yogurt concept called Kingoberry Frozen Yogurt with combined sales of $1.8 million. I have a great passion for concept development and especially employee development. Even as the industry automates and moves online, customer service is still crucial to retaining customers and gaining new clients. The COVID virus is going to be with us for quite some time, I am afraid, we have many challenges ahead, whether they be HR challenges, product and input shortages, COGS issues, and perhaps even a fundamental rethinking of restaurant design and customer interaction.I am looking for an opportunity to help the right restaurant group or concept navigate through the future challenges we face as an industry. I am looking for an opportunity to grow within an organization into a regional management position or higher.
