First and foremost, I love designing and producing live events. From an early age, the technical art of live event production has captivated me, and I have been obsessed with taking initial ideas to their design concepts to the final full-scale production. I think production is an ever-evolving puzzle that is unique to every show and the client's individual needs.My career has taken me to many different corners of the industry, from large scale corporate meetings to live music festivals and many other areas that are in between. I have had the continued pleasure of working with many different companies large and small, as well as the many talented and highly experienced professionals that make up this vast industry. Currently, I am the Product Specialist for Obsidian Control Systems where I provide technical support to our users and internal team, as well as instruct our training classes around the country.Even when the “normal” work hours are done, I tend to continue to challenge myself by working on 3D cads, lighting plots, and video layout matrix’s at home. These personal projects are where I push the envelope and focus on outside of the box ideas to assist in challenging and developing many aspects of my technical knowledge, intellect, problem-solving, and creativity.
