My passion is aviation. With nearly three decades of experience, I currently serve as regional business manager for the team that performs studies, design, design-build and construction projects in the western region of the U.S. for the Department of Defense (DoD) and clients in the aviation industry including projects where we perform energy analysis, business case analysis, life cycle costs and renewable energy solutions that lead to resiliency and redundancy such as micro-grids.I specialize in the design and project management of aviation facilities and their associated infrastructure, including fueling and energy generation. Our multi-discipline project teams create effective, economical solutions for airports, hangars and all types of DoD and aviation facilities.Throughout my career, I’ve successfully managed multiple, simultaneous work orders, as well as high-dollar, high-visibility and highly complex programs for the U.S. Navy. As a result, I’m equally adept at “stitching together” projects at various stages of development in support of the “bigger picture,”.Projects have taken me across the U.S. and around the world. However, my experience is largely local, with recent experience (airside and landside) at major air and sea ports in California. I can navigate through the permit process; oversee logistics; and effectively liaise with agencies, tenants, airlines, contractors, program managers, and stakeholders, while keeping the passenger experience a top priority.
