Prepared a research study on how different Drosophila melanogaster would have their methylation levels changed due to the consumption of monomethyl and mono-ethyl phthalates. Three different concentrations were used on each of the exposed groups to see if the quantity was a factor. Furthermore, we had planned to also observe if the methylation changes would, in turn, cause a phenotypic change in the fly. However, due to Covid-19, we had to haul the experiment just as we began to collect data.
