I am currently a sophomore at the University of Florida, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.My passion for problem-solving and ingenuity has been a great driving force in my academic pursuits. I developed and honed these skills during my time in high school, where I was involved in competitive VEX Robotics. Through this experience, my team and I tackled new challenges each year, focusing on unique mechatronics, controls, and manufacturing problems. These experiences solidified my commitment to lifelong learning which has been realized at the University of Florida! Joining the VEXU Robotics team working with similarly passionate members on new challenges, connecting with members of my Hispanic community in and around school at SHPE, and joining design teams in RWE have kept me wanting to learn every day. Looking ahead, I am eager to specialize in robotics and work with robots, particularly in the manufacturing and automation industries. I believe that engineers play a crucial role in driving innovation and enhancing efficiency to solve a wide range of problems and I am determined to be a part of this community. My ultimate goal is to work for industry-leading companies like Boston Dynamics and ABB, where I can contribute to the cutting edge of robotics.
