Early employee, serving as the first dedicated corporate resource back in 2016, to partner with leadership to build the organization from the ground up, growing from ~15 to -3,000 employees. This work was inclusive of leading people related M&A and integration efforts, notably for Credit Karma Tax, Verse, and Afterpay as a part of the global product ecosystem.

It all started with a tweet. Lead this initiative to create a viable employment model and delivery of resources through strategic cross functional partnerships at the company. This was a side hustle from my core responsibilities with Square and Cash App.

Various responsibilities over the years, it has been a journey. Where to even begin? Focused on building a recruitment team from the ground up to support growth of our distributed engineering teams outside of San Francisco. Primary locations include New York City, Atlanta, Seattle, Kitchener-Waterloo, Toronto, Melbourne, and Sydney.This is inclusive of leading global hiring efforts and strategic direction for the Security Engineering, Risk Engineering, Knowledge Platform Engineering, and Cash App Engineering organizations due to their distributed team structure.
