I've spent my entire career working for the benefit of people and communities. Whether leading a Covid vaccine outreach programme, opening new schools or tackling the cost of living crisis I've worked innovatively with partners to solve problems and get things done.I've spent the last six years at Waltham Forest Council, delivering projects and initiatives that have made a tangible difference to people's lives. I've worked within tight budgetary constraints, leveraging funding from several sources including central government, corporate sponsorship and discretionary local funds to deliver the maximum output possible. I've delivered a range of initiatives, from implementing sustainable travel options for staff, supporting food banks, setting up and funding community living rooms, and one of my proudest achievements - implementing the borough's first scheme to provide free period products to residents. With a strong organisational ability gained through a career managing multiple projects concurrently, I utilise a range of approaches and techniques to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget. I am a confident communicator, who is adept at developing and managing complex relationships with senior stakeholders, project teams and external partners, ensuring that I am seen as a credible and trusted member of the team.
