Instituted a new dissemination system to increase efficiency in this process through report automation. Awarded a cash bonus for performance on this project on 12/12/2013.Documentation and Communication. Project lead on a qualitative economic report meant as an internal companion to the Monthly Retail Trade Survey. Developed source material and statistics to produce and publish the 80-page documentation to help supervisory staff and the Office of the Undersecretary of Commerce understand the state of the retail economy captured as trends reported by the Retail Indicators Branch. This report was compiled each month through source material and source development specific to each Statistician’s NAICS specification. Assigned and monitored staff production on these reports, editing and compiling all final submissions to complete the monthly Retail Trade Memorandum. Training and Research. Developed the training program responsible for training survey sample overlap data processors at the Census Bureau National Processing Center. Survey sample overlap for the economic surveys occurs on every Economic Census period, or every five years. Conducted training on-site in Jeffersonville, IN over the span of two months, occurring in sessions of three days each. Produced the training presentation, materials and testing that would be in use over the course of that period. Trained 60 data processors in total over three on-site sessions and made myself available for off-site customer service and assistance.
