Fort Campbell // Afghanistan

Responsible for the planning and resourcing of training operations for over 800 soldiers. Additionally responsible for overseeing the administrative functions of the Battalion; managing critical internal programs and interactions, budget and property monitoring, composite risk management, and human resources. Awarded the Bronze Star Medal for distinguished leadership in combat. Commended by senior evaluator as being “a top 10% officer” and “one of the top 5 Lieutenants in this Battalion (out of 33)”Directly supervised thirty-one subordinates and responsible for over $11 million dollars of equipment. Deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom; led soldiers in combat, counter-insurgency and unconventional warfare operations. Served as Officer in Charge of a Combat Outpost, supervising 31 American and 120 Afghan Border Police.
