I'm an avid learner who loves strategic thinking, vison casting, initiating change, and new concepts. I love to read and brainstorm about lean production, hedgehog concepts/companies, and successful entrepreneurs. I believe the best businesses engage each of their employees in the continuous improvement process, and this can only happen when you get the right people on the bus and the wrong people off the bus (or into the right seats). I believe in holding my principles as closed fisted ideas (not open to change) and making sure that all other ideas/paradigms are held with an open fist (completely open to change). Last of all, I believe the mark of a genuinely great leader is found in their ability to lead with strength-based humility. Whether you want to call this Level 5 Leadership, Servant Leadership, or Conscious Leadership this leadership begins and ends with a leaders ability to accept that they are not as strong as the sum of their company/team/partnership/etc.
